Sebastian and András, the founders of Gamble and partners in crime, decided to name their first bar as such since starting out on their own fits the definition perfectly. With having no “plan B” or no more savings in case things go south, it seemed like the obvious choice.
András and Sebastian met in Copenhagen. Sebastian worked in the Danish bar industry since he was able to walk and Andras was imported from the London cocktail scene.
In March 2019 the doors of Gamble blasted open to the sound of Jazz and Electro Swing. Since then much has changed but Gamble remains a place dedicated to cocktails, live jazz and the perfect serve, no matter the drink. The atmosphere is warm and dark, cocktails are ice cold and the double bass player is always the coolest of the crowd. Every cocktail has a story to tell, inspired by fact or fiction so the menu is not an easy read but the bartenders are always happy to tell you all there is to know about the signature drinks or classic cocktails if that's what you are after.
