IN THE BEGINNING…
Hi! I’m Nick. Back in 2014, armed with only a tempermental blender and a deep-seated (and arguably obsessive) passion for tea and tapioca pearls, I began to make what I hoped would become the best bubble tea around.

I grew up in Singapore. If there’s one thing you should know about Singapore, it’s that you can spend most of your childhood and teenage years happily sampling some the best bubble tea the world has to offer. At least, that’s what I did. During these formative years, I became a self-professed boba connoisseur.


…TO LONDON TOWN
I moved to London. When I arrived, I found a distinct lack of quality boba. This may sound only mildly perilous, but to me it was a big deal. “London deserves better!” I thought. So, I left my sort-of-but-not-really-fulfilling career in finance with the intention to make the best bubble tea you’ll ever taste. I called this adventure Biju.
 
 
MAKING THE BEST OF BOBA
Right from the outset, we wanted to do things a little different. Powdered creamer? Never! We’d only ever use fresh, organic milk. We’d also only freshly brew each tea to order, and never as a batch. Today, we brew hundreds of cups of tea every day in each store, individually, cup by cup. This results in a tea that is lighter, fresher, and healthier.

Many milks. Tremendous teas. Tantalising toppings. Today, we have three stores across London. We’d love you to drop by sometime!
