We’re excited to host the second annual Terracotta wine after the success of the first one (Omakase) last year.
This time the main focus will be amphoraed wines. For those who are used to heavy taste and oaked wine, such as a typical Barossa Valley Shiraz or a fruity Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, it’s time to take a step back from the cultural imperialism of the French appellation system and to try unoaked ones made in amphora, clay pots or concrete eggs, which allow the juice to express its purity and freshness.
The five elements of Vietnamese cuisine used in every dish are spicy, sour, bitter, salty, and sweet. The pairing of 9 WINES + 7 contemporary, fresh Vietnamese dishes is a sensational concept that it’s destined to give off that savory punch to satisfy your taste buds throughout the tasting.Featured amphoraed wine regions are: Bordeaux, Loire, Italy, Georiga and Turkey.
Free flow Turkish “champagne” and Prosecco will be served at the door at 6:30pm. (RSVPed only).
