BASTARDA are on somewhat of a high to present good friends restaurant Silo from the UK for a long, lazy alfresco lunch on the roof terrace of restaurant Roxie on Sunday 7th July.
Over the last 5 years, Silo has been making waves with its zero-waste approach to restaurant operations, working with suppliers to drive down waste at every opportunity. Conceived from a desire to innovate the food industry whilst demonstrating respect: respect for the environment, respect for the way our food is generated and respect for the nourishment given to our bodies. This means that they create everything from its whole form cutting out food miles and over-processing whilst preserving nutrients and the integrity of the ingredients in the process.
Silo are in the transition of moving their highly-acclaimed restaurant from the pebble-strewn shores of Brighton to a new home in London's Hackney Wick, which will open at the end of the Summer. Meanwhile, BASTARDA and Roxie invite you to enjoy the distillation and creativity of one of Europe's most innovative, passionate and downright good-guy restaurants out there.
The lunch will start at 13.00 and is 450KR for 5 courses. Wines will be selected by Silo Sommelier Ania Smelskaya and BASTARDA Honey Spencer.
