The Most Extraordinary Nordic Gastro Travel!
The Nordic food scene is moving forward full steam ahead and many restaurants are honored with Michelin stars. It is no coincidence that Denmark is now recognized internationally as a gastronomic hotspot. We want to celebrate that and have created an exclusive gastro travel that will take you on a culinary adventure through Copenhagen and the Faroe Islands.
On this culinary journey local culinary experiences, nature and fine dining are the top priorities. All accompanied by local hosts sharing their knowledge and secrets about the places we visit.
With private dining at restaurant Noma in Copenhagen and a unique culinary experience at restaurant Koks on the Faroe Islands, Foods of Copenhagen takes guests on a unique 3-day Nordic gastro adventure this summer.

On the first day Foods of Copenhagen takes guests on a treasure hunt through the hidden streets of Copenhagen on a 5-hour customized food tour, where we learn about how the local food scene has developed and won international recognition.
We will meet Thomas, chef and herb forager, who is behind the company Wildfooding and together with him go foraging in the city. Our food tour will continue to the waterfront where we will meet our friend and chef Morten who has one of the most unique food concepts in Copenhagen. After this it is time for dessert in a hidden gem behind Nyhavn that is famous for its dessert menu. On our last stop we will visit an old church and meet with one of the most passionate people in the industry when we end with a innovative and unique afternoon cocktail.
In the evening we meet to end the day with an extraordinary dinner at restaurant Noma that will be featuring the vegetarian season. Today this is still Foods of Copenhagen's own favorite season.
On the second day, the adventure continues on the Faroe Islands where our local host Solfinn Danielsen introduces you to the Faroese kitchen, beauty and customs. After a day of exploring the islands stunning nature and local delicacies, we will get unique insights into local hospitality, when we participate in an intimate “Heima” dinner focusing on the old food traditions.
The adventure rounds off with a private lunch at one of the world’s most remote 2-star Michelin restaurants, restaurant Koks, where you get an extraordinary introduction to the new Nordic cuisine. We will get a taste of the innovative Faroese kitchen through the unique use of ancient techniques and locally forages, farmed and fermented ingredients.
