After a number of sell out collaborations with our chef friends – Jon Parry, Gil Meller, Josh Eggleton to name a few – this time we’re inviting some of our wine producer friends to be the star of the show. Paolo De Marchi from Isole e Olena in the rolling hills of Tuscany, is in the UK for 1 night only and is bringing his amazing wines for a dinner on Tuesday 20th February.
Paolo will be opening his wonderful Chardonnay, which is beautifully Burgundian in style, his widely acclaimed Cepparello; a silky and elegant sangiovese, and a powerful syrah; a grape varietal not usually found in Italy but which responds beautifully to the Tuscan terroir and weather.
The menu is being designed by our fantastic sous chef, Paolo Lancini, who cut his teeth at Artusi in Peckham for 5 years and hails from Lombardia. Our head chef, Nicholas Balfe, is overseeing proceedings but allowing Paolo carte blanche to develop a delicious menu to match the glory of the wines. It will feature antipasti, primi, secondi & dolce.
We’ve kept the food and wine separate so you can chose to have the wine flight from Paolo di Marchi or buy one of his bottles. Please note, entry will only be allowed with a food ticket. Please bring your email confirmation with you to the event.
