Fogo Island Foodways make paths to Berlin - Chef Jonathan Gushue at Baldon
On Thursday January 24th, join Newfoundland, Canada's Chef Jonathan Gushue of the award winning Fogo island Inn at Baldon as he brings the North Atlantic to Berlin.
Using outport tradition to guide contemporary cuisine, Chef Gushue will highlight place-based ingredients from Fogo Island's bountiful waters and land. With an approach that is both nuanced and direct, Chef Gushue represents each of Fogo Island’s seven seasons by staying true to the most important attributes: nature and culture.
Hosted by the lovely team at Baldon, (formerly Pahr), their stark and beautiful space will set the scene for Chef Gushue and Baldon's Chef Caecila Baldszus to present their shared love for seasonality and natural flavours.
