House of Vans Arches 228-232 Station Approach Road SE1 8SW London
Experience the harmonious flavors of Armenian and Turkish food. Chef Onder Sahan, owner of popular London Turkish restaurant chain, Tas and Hazev, and cook Natalie Griffith of supperclub, Natalie’s Armenian Kitchen, are collaborating to bring to life an exciting and delicious sharing feast.
The chefs will bring together Turkish and Armenian cuisine as part of Conflict Café, the pop-up restaurant that serves food from regions that have experienced conflict, and explores the power of food to foster dialogue and understanding. The night will take you on a journey through the bordering regions of these two countries, with guests getting a unique chance to try Turkish dishes that often don’t appear on London restaurant menus, and experience the relatively unknown cuisine of Armenia.
