Christmas Dinners with guest chef Lucas Power
SOO restaurant at Maidla Nature Resort is organising a welcome Pop-up Kitchen over the holidays for outstanding guest chef Lucas Power, with incredible dishes inspired by his travels in the Far East. His five-course dinner is inspired by his Taiwanese experience of food and culture and his extraordinary culinary experiences as a chef.

About chef Lucas Power:
After a diverse journey that included studying foreign languages and serving in the US Navy as a Chinese linguist for 11 years, he diverted his attention towards kitchens and cuisine, remembering his love for Taiwanese food and culture.
He worked at the Michelin-starred Rose's Luxury and minibar in Washington, DC and Birds and Bubbles and The Pines in New York City. Always seeking to reach new culinary heights, he moved to Lyon, France, with his husband, dogs, and cats to attend the Paul Bocuse Culinary Institute and worked at Le Saint Hubert bistro.
Now, after two and a half years in France, the whole family has moved to Tallinn to embark on a new adventure, and we can't wait to introduce Taiwanese flavours to Estonia!
